The play will be performed in its world premiere at the Dunstan Playhouse from November 15 to 30.
Discover the fascinating history of the Trans-Australian Railway, once described as an unbreakable link between the east and west of the country, in the free Camel trains to steel wheels exhibition. Presented by the National Archives of Australia, the exhibition uses archival material to show the tough lives of those who built, maintained and lived on the line, as well as those who traversed Australia’s most strategically important railway. The Trans-Australian Railway opened in 1917 and ran from Port Augusta in South Australia, crossing the Nullarbor plain through to Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. This exhibition is on display at the State Library South Australia until January 2025.
