Join the who’s who of South Australia as they gather to honour our state’s finest. This is the gala awards night where the pages of SALIFE come to life!
We’ll celebrate the ‘absolute best’ of South Australia’s food, beverages, travel, luxury, and design, along with the incredible individuals and businesses leading the way.
Alongside the awards, this exclusive cocktail event will be serving up premium canapés from Out in The Paddock. Drinks will be flowing from Bird in Hand wines, 23rd Street Distillery, Vale Ale and Bickford’s.
Winners are chosen by an independent panel of industry experts, with entrants nominated by the South Australian public.
This year’s judges include leaders in real estate and urban development as well as celebrated figures in fashion, food, and the arts, ensuring the best of South Australia is recognised.
The panel includes Andrea Heading, CEO of the Real Estate Institute South Australia; Bruce Djite, Executive Director of the Property Council of South Australia; Paul Wood, a renowned food, drinks, and travel writer; Paul Vasileff, Founder and Creative Director of Paolo Sebastian; Heather Croall AM, Director and CEO of Adelaide Fringe; Jessica Douglas, Manager of Brand South Australia; and Liz Walsh, award-winning journalist and Editor of SALIFE.
The 14 award categories include South Australian Brand of the Year, South Australian Inspiring Future Leader, and SALIFE Person of the Year – as well as the year’s ‘absolute best’ home, garden, designers, product, artist, restaurant, event, sustainability, luxury, and tourism experiences.
The Brand of the Year finalist are Bickford’s, celebrating 150 years of heritage and global reach; JamFactory, renowned for nurturing local talent and excellence in design; and Thomas Foods International, a family-owned business now exporting to over 85 countries.
The SA Home of the Year category showcases some incredible properties, with finalists including Bird in Hand Estate, which features a stunning private family garden, and Drouin, a five-acre floral wonderland in the Adelaide Hills with a Monet-style bridge and Japanese-inspired garden.
The South Australian Product of the Year finalists showcase innovative local craftsmanship. The finalists are Limon, a family-owned Limoncello maker using fresh, locally sourced produce and sustainable practices to create a modern and classy product; It’s Olio, producer of the fun, squeezable Mr Olio bottle of extra virgin olive oil bringing joy to home cooking; and Willow Bay Australia, known for their versatile neoprene Boutique Tote, crafted to transition seamlessly from work to leisure.

The Absolute Best Event of the Year category features some of South Australia’s most exciting experiences among its finalists: Illuminate, a spectacular celebration of light and creativity; Tasting Australia, a premier culinary festival showcasing the region’s finest food and wine; and Liv Golf, an event that brought world-class golfing talent to South Australia.
The SALIFE Person of the Year category celebrates individuals who have made remarkable contributions to South Australia. This year’s finalists are Annabel Crabb, a celebrated journalist and author known for her wit and insightful commentary; Kyle Chalmers, world champion freestyler and Olympic gold medalist; Katherine Bennell-Pegg, the first woman to lead a space mission for Australia; Ali Eckermann, a renowned poet and artist; Michael Harvey, the leader innovating our cultural and scientific sectors; and Maggie Beer, beloved cook, author, and advocate for quality produce and aged care nutrition.
