In this week’s Poet’s Corner, Leon van der Linde captures a beguiling moment of seaside serenity.
a glint of content
in the sun’s golden-warm
arc
blissful the sweep
of each faint
cool breeze
serenity sets sail
a yacht
on the ocean
as it swirls from pale
to dark marine blue
soulful the rhythm
of sea spray
on the rocks
splashed in black
and changing
silvery hues
gratitude lingers
in fading footprints
gulls meditating
on the off-white
sand
the past and future
arise and cease
merging into
carefree awareness
this beguiling moment
at Sawtell Beach
