Jason proposed to Grace in a giant sea turtle enclosure in New Caledonia, with Grace’s late nanna’s ring, although the intention was always to purchase Grace her own ring.
The couple went to Sydney jeweller, Grew & Co, on their way home from New Caledonia “to look”, but Jason had already earlier purchased Grace’s dream ring, which the Grew & Co jeweller had made and auctioned for charity. “Jason had three devices open to make sure he took out the top bid in the last few seconds!” Grace says. A special touch on their wedding day was the cake knife, handmade by Jason.
