In no small coup for the Adelaide Botanic Garden, since September locals and visitors to our city have been able to experience the works of the world’s most celebrated glass artist, Dale Chihuly.

Today, that run of good fortune seems too short, with the end date of 29 April nearing.

Best to get in one more visit – and perhaps call into the Museum of Economic Botany where JamFactory have partnered with the garden to present a retail outlet – and add a little Chihuly to your daily life.

The Artistic Inspiration – Chihuly in the Botanic Garden Graphic Notebook (3pk)

Thinking of unleashing your creative side? While Chihuly’s formidable glass talents are indeed a rarity, you could take a sidewards step into the world of sugar art. And for that, like a good artist, the first step is to sketch.

Create unconstrained in the blank notebook or feel the frisson of working with grids that make sketching to scale a cinch. Don’t know where to start? Journalling in the lined notebook about your growth mindset could help.
