Kaesler Wines could have planned a run-of-the-mill event for their new Icon wines release – but where’s the fun in that?
Instead, the winery has opted for an all-senses extravaganza in Kaesler’s Comfort Food Cabaret.
Its historic barrel shed will transform into the Barossa’s most captivating dining venue to host a one-night-only fusion of wine, song and smoke-kissed cuisine, featuring multi-award-winning cabaret performer Michelle Pearson and The Bearded Cook, Andrew Saxon.
Chief winemaker Tim Dolan said the team was excited to showcase the new wines alongside “some of Adelaide’s best talent”.
“It’s always special to release wines that truly embody the heart and soul of Kaesler, and sharing them with our community in such a fun and engaging way makes it even better,” Dolan said.

A culinary and musical extravaganza
At the heart of this unique experience is Michelle Pearson, an acclaimed performer renowned both in Australia and internationally for her dynamic shows that seamlessly fuse musical comedy with culinary arts. Accompanied by a live band, Pearson will deliver a mix of jazz, rock and pop as she prepares a three-course meal on stage. This pop-up supper club concept ensures that food, wine and song come together in perfect harmony, offering an unforgettable evening.

The evening’s menu is curated by Andrew Saxon, The Bearded Cook, who will showcase his culinary expertise over an authentic Argentinian grill. Guests can anticipate smoky, locally inspired creations infused with global influences. Each course is designed to complement Kaesler’s esteemed wine selection, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Celebrate the new release of Kaesler’s Icon wines
Guests will be among the first to experience the new release Icon range, including the legendary Old Bastard Shiraz. The Kaesler crew will be present, sharing their stories, expertise and passion for these exceptional wines. A door prize draw will give one lucky guest the chance to take home a prized piece of Kaesler’s winemaking history and special-order opportunities will be available on the night.
