Record Store Day at Clarity

Local institution Clarity Records is gearing up for Record Store Day on April 12, 2025, which also marks their fifteenth anniversary since opening their doors on Record Store Day (RSD) 2010.

Known for hosting one of the state’s biggest Record Store Day events, they’re kicking things off with their traditional midnight opening on Friday, April 11, trading right through until 6pm on Saturday, April 12.

Punters can expect a large range of special RSD releases, plus limited-edition Clarity Records merchandise, including a T-shirt, tote bag, and stickers featuring artwork by Glenno Smith. From 9am Saturday, over 2000 secondhand titles from a recent buying trip to Japan will hit the shelves, alongside plenty of new general stock. They’ll also have their famous RSD vegan cupcakes, with gluten-free options available.

Note that AFL Gather Round coincides with the event, so expect larger crowds than usual on Pulteney Street.
