Clare Valley Gourmet Week is on from May 16–25 featuring more than 10 days of wine, food and cultural events, set against “the breathtaking autumnal beauty” of one of South Australia’s best-known wine regions.

Clare Valley Wine & Grape Association Chair Mitchell Taylor says Gourmet Week is “a rare opportunity to connect with Clare Valley’s family-owned wineries and world-class producers”.

“This year’s addition of the Gourmet Bus Trails will offer a relaxed, immersive way for visitors to experience the best the region has to offer,” Mitchell says. 

Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison says Gourmet Week showcases why the Clare Valley region is world-class.

“The magic of Autumn in Clare Valley is in the spotlight, as festivalgoers enjoy vibrant celebrations, immersive experiences, stunning long lunches, twilight dinners, and more this May,” she says.

This year’s festival includes new Gourmet Bus Trails showcasing the region’s best wineries. Ticket holders can choose between three curated trails on Saturday, May 17 or Sunday, May 18, or do one each day. Tickets include transport, food and wine at four venues. 

Other festival highlights include twilight tastings, a wine blending workshop with Knappstein Wines, and a range of long lunches paired with Clare Valley wines.
