Adelaide’s biggest multicultural festival is back, taking over the Adelaide Showgrounds on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. This year’s festival is set to break attendance records.
There will be more than 20 food stalls featuring everything from Turkish and Bosnian to Syrian, Palestinian and Indian food. This year’s Eid Festival will have the biggest ever food and entertainment area since the event began in 2010 and will provide the largest array of rides at any event in Adelaide outside of The Royal Adelaide Show. There are four new rides to add to the fun, where a mix of scary rides, rollercoasters and fun adventures for the little ones keep both kids and parents entertained.
There will be fireworks on Sunday night and interactive sessions with sporting clubs will provide great memories after the fun of rides and other experiences on offer. Sideshow games and showbags, stage shows, a petting zoo, a rock-climbing wall and camel rides are just some of the other activities patrons can choose to enjoy. Adelaide’s Multicultural Eid Festival is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community event. Tickets are $14.30 for adults, $10.20 for children aged five to 13 and free for children aged four and under.
