These famous faces of Adelaide waited in line for a very long time for their Gang Gang burger fix (as per our cover of The Festival Edition). It was so worth it though.

Nina and Morgen Wynn-Hadinata are the minds behind the Gang Gang brand which includes Gang Gang Eden Hills, Hindley Street’s 99 Gang Social, Thirsty Tiger and three food trucks.

If you haven’t been to Penny University (firstly, what are you doing?), you would certainly recognise the white tiled ‘hole in the wall’ set-up as a regular backdrop for most city candid Instagram posts. It’s usually a very chill shot of someone sitting down, sipping on an iced long black.

Nathan is a rapper and producer based in Adelaide. He’s performed at WOMADelaide and OzAsia festivals and is known for unconventional sampling techniques that produce a wide musical spectrum; everything from soothing lo-fi beats to forward-thinking jazz-infused future-bap.
Lucy is the Member for Adelaide. She was elected in 2022. Lucy was raised in Naracoorte before moving to Adelaide to study at university.

Will is an LGBTQIA+ rights activist and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to the rainbow community. He is known for his rainbow history walks throughout South Australia as alter-ego Dr Gertrude Glossip.

Brenda owns the popular social media account Freaky Feeds and is known for her very appealing food videos (she often stares into the camera while shoving delicious food in her mouth).

Jane Lomax-Smith is the Lord Mayor of Adelaide. She’s had an extensive career as a pathologist and has a PhD in immunology. She has held elected office as a city councillor, Lord Mayor and as an MP for the city as Minister for Education and Tourism.
